A squirrel enjoys its food while sitting on top of a rock in Confederation Park in Burnaby, BC., Canada. There were tons of squirrels running around, playing together, searching for food, climbing the trees on a Fall day. While I and my 6 years old daughter were enjoying our observations of the squirrel spectacle--so to speak--this one, in particular, sat on the rock for a long time enjoying its meal, and only occasionally looking around to make sure that there were not any predators or signs of threat.
